Hi, I'm Zoom! This comic is based on my trials and tribulations, and occasionally, fantasies of mine. Things I enjoy include:

  • Eating tuna
  • Chasing my mouse toys
  • Dancing
  • Knocking things off of shelves and dressers
  • Jumping into boxes
  • Anything else that's awesome!
Some have called me a muse; I've inspired drawings, comics, thank you cards, and song parodies. I hope you love these comics because I want to be a star.


My name is Emily and I make this comic! I live in Boston with my boyfriend, Liam, and a fluffball named Zoom. By day I do neuroscience research, but The Fluffington Post lets me combine my two greatest passions: drawing and cats!
